This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor who wants the freedom to work independently without micromanagement, while still being supported with strong training and real progression opportunities – including potential for panel membership and supervisory responsibilities.What’s on Offer?£45,000 – £50,000+ DOEHybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)26 days’ holiday + bank holidays + birthday off after 1 yearMedicash health plan & company pensionBonus opportunities & regular social eventsA friendly and progressive culture where you’re treated as a person, not a numberThe Role:You’ll manage a varied public law child care caseload, representing parents, grandparents, children (directly or via their CAFCASS-appointed guardian) and other family members.You’ll also:Attend PLO and final hearingsHandle Legal Aid/CCMS proceduresPrepare bundles, instruct counsel and undertake advocacy (if desired)Guide junior team members and assist with trainingContribute to the development and growth of the departmentAbout You:3–10+ years PQE in child care lawStrong working knowledge of Legal Aid and care proceedingsChildren Panel accreditation is a plus (or a desire to obtain it)Comfortable working independently and collaborativelyCommercially aware, with excellent client care and drafting skillsExperience managing or supporting junior team members would be idealThis firm values people who bring empathy, commercial thinking and drive and it is passionate about giving you space to thrive. #J-18808-Ljbffr
