We offer fantastic opportunities for committed employees to learn and develop their career. At Thales UK, we research, develop, and supply technology and services that impact the lives of millions each day. We innovate across Aerospace, Defence, Security, and Space. Your health and well‑being matters; we offer flexibility – part time hours, job sharing, home working, and flexible start/finish times.

What the Role Has To Offer

  • Opportunity to drive impactful projects alongside high‑profile global clients across finance and retail portfolios.
  • Work with a worldwide team where your career development and progression will be supported.

Our Opportunity

Reporting to the Cybersecurity & Digital Identity Manager, the CIAM Solution Architect will bridge the gap between business requirements and technological implementation, ensuring systems and applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with our long‑term vision. You will support hybrid work from the Reading office.

Following CIAM SaaS onboarding, you’ll work in multidisciplinary, customer‑facing project teams composed of architects, project managers, and consultants. You’ll sign off on best‑of‑breed CIAM solutions for corporate clients and help customers maximise the platform.

CIAM interacts with a wide spectrum of systems and solutions. Liaising with external vendors (e.g., engineers who build customer portals) is part of the role. We welcome your UX/UI insights, though you’ll focus on hard core topics like flow and integration. Security obsession is essential.

We seek candidates who enjoy working autonomously, have delivered innovative solutions in the cyber and digital space, and have served diverse customers. Applicants may be experienced software engineers, senior software engineers, or CIAM Solution Architects.
