Our client, a leading consultancy within the water sector, is looking for experienced Civil Design Engineers to support Yorkshire Water AMP8 projects on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work fully remotely on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Storm Overflow Alliance (SOA) on projects involving CSOs, storage, and sewer upgrades
• Contribute to the Strategic Planning Partnership (SPP) with feasibility studies, optioneering, and early-stage infrastructure planning
• Work on both infrastructure and non-infrastructure clean water and wastewater projects
• Ensure design compliance with regulatory and industry standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project objectives
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation as required
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

Job Requirements:

• Experience in civil engineering within the water sector
• Strong understanding of design principles and regulatory standards
• Proficiency in using relevant engineering software
• Ability to produce high-quality design documentation and reports
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Long-term contract with a leading consultancy
