Our SSAS team offer professional services to around 2,000 Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSAS) and 150 Funded Unapproved Retirement Benefits Schemes (FURBS), including trusteeship, consultancy and administration.
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience of SSASs and/or SIPPs to join our SSAS team as a Client Manager. This role can be based in our Amersham, Cheltenham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, or Liverpool offices working on a hybrid basis.
A snapshot of your day:
- Accountable for a portfolio of SSAS clients, ensuring that the various regulatory requirements of administering a SSAS are complied with whilst ensuring that your clients’ needs are met in a professional manner
- Providing internal technical support to colleagues or being responsible for nurturing business relationships with introducers
- Perform complex administration activities such as earmarked fund splits and bespoke investment
- application paperwork with high levels of accuracy, and check administration work performed by others
- Resolve most client-related queries raised in relation to client work, escalating matters to more experienced colleagues when necessary, and to represent the firm at client meetings
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Recent experience with SSAS or SIPP
- Experience of interacting with clients directly, whether in administrative or client-facing role
- As a minimum, GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C / 5 or higher
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is desirable, strong IT skills essential
- High levels of integrity and confidentiality as you will be dealing with sensitive information
