Clinical Negligence Solicitor | Specialist Claimant Team | North-West (Hybrid) | 4-8 PQE

A highly-ranked clinical negligence team within a long-standing Manchester practice is seeking a Solicitor to join them. This is a role within a department known for their stability, supportive structure, and quality of work they handle across the full spectrum of claimant clinical negligence.

The Team

The clinical negligence team comprises just under 30 people, including Partners, Senior Associates, Associates, Solicitors and Paralegals. The team has been built with a deliberate balance of experience levels, giving everyone access to colleagues they can both learn from and support. This structure allows for regular collaboration, informal discussion of cases, and a steady flow of shared knowledge.

The department works on a broad range of claimant clinical negligence matters, including but not limited to:

• Cancer claims
• Bowel surgery claims
• Orthopaedic and spinal claims
• Cauda equina syndrome claims
• Neonatal claims
• Birth injury claims

Cases range from moderate to high value, and team members are encouraged to become involved in more complex matters to build experience gradually and sustainably.

The Role

You will handle your own varied caseload of clinical negligence matters, suited to your level of experience, while also assisting senior colleagues on larger or more complex cases when appropriate.

There is room to shape your caseload around developing interests, and opportunities to take on more complex work as your confidence grows.

• A Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 4 - 8 years' PQE
• Experience running a clinical negligence caseload with appropriate supervision
