Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds

A leading national law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor for its Leeds office. Known for delivering high-quality legal services to individuals and families, the firm offers a supportive and inclusive workplace where career development and well‑being are prioritised.

You will be joining a highly experienced clinical negligence team that handles complex and high‑value cases, particularly involving birth and spinal cord injuries. The role is suited to someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of their clients.

You will manage your own clinical negligence caseload while also assisting on significant multi‑track claims. The work often involves securing interim payments for rehabilitation, care and accommodation prior to final settlements. You’ll be part of a collaborative team led by a respected senior partner.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing clinical negligence claims from instruction to resolution.
  • Supporting colleagues on catastrophic injury matters.
  • Providing practical, empathetic legal advice to clients in sensitive circumstances.
  • Contributing to the continued success of the department and working closely with colleagues to deliver the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year of post‑qualification experience and a solid grounding in clinical negligence litigation.
  • Experience with high‑value or multi‑track cases.
  • Strong client‑care approach, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • A long‑term interest in claimant clinical negligence is essential.
