For more information on the Job Description and Responsibilities, please click the link below. The Exeter Occupational Health Service is part of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, providing comprehensive Occupational Health services to NHS staff and non-NHS organisations.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to undertake the Clinical Nurse Specialist role of Occupational Health Nurse Advisor within the wider OH Team spanning Eastern and Northern Services. This role involves providing specialist OHNA services to ensure a professional, efficient, accurate, and timely service.
There are two posts available: 1 full-time and 1 30-hours/week. Both are permanent contracts with a working pattern of Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30. Occasional work between 07:00 - 19:00 may be required. No bank holiday working is expected.
Main responsibilities include:
- Providing expert evidence-based practice and clinical expertise in this specialist area.
- Having decision-making autonomy, responsibility, and accountability within guidelines and protocols, contributing to leadership, development, and supervision of staff.
- Collaborating with others or working independently to meet the needs of the Occupational Health Service.
- Participating in the education and development of staff and assisting with the development of clinical services and enhanced practice.
Working Pattern:
Full and part-time positions available, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30, no bank holidays.

Salary:
The salary reflects the Agenda for Change 2025/6 rates, including a 3.6% pay award to be implemented later this year. If you join before the implementation, the pay award will be backdated to your start date. Until then, remuneration is based on the 2024/5 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2024/25).
