Overview
Independent Clinical Network is a remote-friendly clinic offering ASD/ADHD assessments for children, young people and adults, with opportunities for ADOS assessments if trained. Flexible, remote work options available within the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ASD developmental histories using NICE guideline compliant methods/tools to evaluate children and adults undergoing Autism assessments.
- Conduct ADHD assessments.
- Opportunity to undertake ADOS assessments if ADOS-2 trained.
- Assess individuals aged 3–18 years and 18+ adults.
- Observe and engage clients during sessions, asking questions in an age-appropriate and compassionate manner.
- Review ADOS reports, developmental history, and collateral information in the same session.
- Formulate a diagnosis, provide feedback to the family in a kind and compassionate manner, including recommendations and signposting to resources.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) in planned clinics and follow-up sessions as needed.
- Produce high-quality, detailed diagnostic reports within 48 hours post-assessment, adhering to DSM-5 criteria and report templates (admin support for formatting/quality control provided).
- Request onward referrals as clinically necessary, in line with local NHS Trust/ICB protocols.
Our Clinics
- Up to four appointments per day, paid on a competitive per assessment tariff (self-employed, outside IR35).
- Remote work and face-to-face available in Canterbury and Basingstoke (other locations available depending on your location).
- Flexible working days available Monday to Sunday, accommodating your schedule, up to 40 hours a week.
- Free CPD opportunities, training and peer-to-peer support.
What We’re Looking For
- HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist
- Expertise and confidence in ASD and ADHD assessments for children, young people and/or adults
- Familiar with diagnostic tools such as Conners, ADI-R, DIVA-5, CAARS and QB testing
- A professional who embodies values of trust, integrity, commitment and kindness
- Passionate about delivering clinical excellence
- Specialist interest in neurodiversity
