Cloud Application Developer - Azure
- Leeds (Hybrid - 3 days office/2 remote)
- GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + bonus + benefits

We're working with a global technology company that's investing heavily in digital transformation and expanding its engineering team in Leeds. They're looking for a Cloud Application Developer with strong Azure experience to help build scalable, reliable applications that support their next phase of growth.

Responsibilities

• The Role
  You'll join a collaborative development team working on end-to-end Azure projects. From designing and building APIs to deploying cloud-native solutions that connect to cutting-edge devices, this is a role where you'll have real influence on architecture, performance, and delivery.

• What You'll Be Working With:

• Azure services such as Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, SQL, Blob Storage, and DevOps pipelines

• API design, documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and integration with external partners

• Hands-on coding in C# .NET or Python (with opportunities to explore Node.js/Java)

• Building and optimising data pipelines and cloud applications

• CI/CD automation in a modern DevOps environment

• Opportunities to work with IoT and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)

Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong Azure experience with the ability to design and implement cloud-native solutions

• Hands-on coding experience in C# .NET or Python (with opportunities to explore Node.js/Java)

• Experience with API design and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)

• Experience building and optimising data pipelines and cloud applications

• CI/CD and DevOps practices in a modern environment

• Opportunities to work with IoT and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)

Benefits

• GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 base salary
