Role purpose / summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented professional to join our team as a Customer Success & Service Delivery Specialist. In this role, you will serve as the primary customer-facing point of contact, ensuring smooth coordination across logistics supply chains, resolving escalations, and overseeing day-of-install operations through our network of edge service providers. The ideal candidate will have experience in Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) and/or professional services, with a strong background in managing complex deployments and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer-facing liaison, managing communication and expectations throughout deployment lifecycles.
  • Coordinate with logistics supply chains to ensure timely and accurate delivery of hardware, software, and services.
  • Manage and resolve customer escalations, balancing customer satisfaction with operational constraints.
  • Oversee and support edge service providers performing day-of-install activities in local markets.
  • Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, ensuring repeatable, high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and account teams to align on timelines, dependencies, and customer requirements.
  • Provide reporting and feedback to leadership on deployment performance, risks, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support adoption of Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) solutions and other professional services engagements where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in a technology services or professional services organization.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and field service operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer escalations with professionalism and urgency.
  • Experience coordinating with third-party or edge service providers for technical deployments.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) or similar cloud/edge technologies.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous deployments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
