About This Opportunity

Based within the Business Area Cloud Software and Services (BCSS) – Service Area Cognitive Network Solutions (SA CNS), the Strategic Competence Unit (SCU) is a highly qualified global service delivery team located in several countries. You will be working on advanced mobile technologies and will be involved in projects with many diverse customers around the world. In this role, you will be a specialist and a go‑to person in the field of RAN/E2E Network Design and Optimization (NDO).

What You Will Do

  • Support the delivery of advanced services in the area of NDO, with special focus on Benchmarking Preparation, New Technology Optimization and Multivendor networks’ Optimization.
  • Learn to understand customer requirements and grow technically to provide advice and lead technical discussion in the future.
  • Point and guide discussions with Customers (Technical Staff and Senior Management).
  • Support ongoing projects, their development and technical presentations and proposals.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing.
  • Provide ideas and suggestions to Product Management to further improve/add/modify existing offerings within the NDO portfolio.
  • Analyze data and deliver solutions that improve the customer network in terms of capacity, functionality and end‑user services. You are expected to work across the entire Mobile Broadband eco system.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or IT.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in ICT Industry with experience in service delivery and pre‑sales.
  • Technical expertise in 4G, 5G NSA/SA, VoNR, MBB/FWA, RAN Sharing/MOCN, ML/AI applied to NDO services, Cloud‑RAN.
  • End to End knowledge of services, covering devices, RAN, Transport and Packet Core domains.
  • Deep technical knowledge in RAN and deep data analytics knowledge.
  • Ability to understand customers business objectives and be able to link them to improvements in Network Performance and End User Experience.
  • Ability to communicate eloquently, present and influence the customer by knowing the impact of any action/service on their business.
  • Team Building, Developing Others and Sharing Knowledge mindset.
  • Proven ability to be self‑motivated, show initiative and capability to work in challenging circumstances and learn independently.
  • Result‑oriented with focus on customer satisfaction and project delivery. Customer care and high concern for quality is required.
  • Knowledge of Ericsson equipment, radio network features, algorithms, and parameters would be an advantage.
  • Location & Travelling: Position is based in UK. Ability to travel globally as per business priorities.
  • English is mandatory.
