Responsibilities

  • Champion customer outcomes by evolving approach to vulnerable customers and forbearance
  • Lead and inspire internal teams and external partners, holding accountability for productivity, quality, service delivery, and cost efficiency
  • Design and execute a forward-thinking strategy for collections and recoveries that aligns with broader business goals and supports scalable growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure a cohesive and integrated collections approach
  • Drive data-led initiatives to enhance performance across the collections and recoveries lifecycle
  • Harness technology and innovation to improve customer experience, accessibility, and financial inclusion
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all collections activities, proactively managing risk and resolving any compliance concerns
  • Streamline operations by optimising workflows and leveraging automation to reduce manual processes and boost efficiency
  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting on key metrics, identifying trends and implementing targeted improvements
  • Set and monitor strategic goals in partnership with senior leadership to reduce delinquency, minimise losses, and maximise recovery rates

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of collections experience within consumer lending
  • Experience with SQL
  • Strong stakeholder abilities
