We are seeking an experienced Forensic Collision Investigator to join our team at TRL. This role involves in-depth investigations into road collisions, including those resulting in fatalities and serious injuries. The nature of this work requires resilience, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the UK legal system.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate road collisions and vehicle-related incidents.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality forensic reports for public and private sector clients.
- Present evidence in Civil and Criminal Courts.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert advice.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in forensic collision investigation and injury causation analysis including video analysis.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, biomechanics, and forensic video analysis.
- Experience in producing and reviewing technical reports with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting evidence in Court.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in physics, engineering or biomechanics.
- Experience retrieving and analysing vehicle electronic data (EDRs, telematics).
- Knowledge of inspecting electric vehicles and related safety protocols.
- An interest in injury causation.
