We are seeking an experienced Forensic Collision Investigator to join our team at TRL. This role involves in-depth investigations into road collisions, including those resulting in fatalities and serious injuries. The nature of this work requires resilience, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the UK legal system.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate road collisions and vehicle-related incidents.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality forensic reports for public and private sector clients.
  • Present evidence in Civil and Criminal Courts.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert advice.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in forensic collision investigation and injury causation analysis including video analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, biomechanics, and forensic video analysis.
  • Experience in producing and reviewing technical reports with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting evidence in Court.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in physics, engineering or biomechanics.
  • Experience retrieving and analysing vehicle electronic data (EDRs, telematics).
  • Knowledge of inspecting electric vehicles and related safety protocols.
  • An interest in injury causation.
