They are looking for someone for up to 30 hours p/week, can offer remote working, and a rate of circa £50 - £60 p/hour via an Umbrella company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex commercial and procurement matters within Local Government. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Handling a broad range of contracts and agreements on behalf of the Council, including business as usual supply contracts and agreements, and some construction works involving NEC & JCT contracts Advising on procurement matters, commercial contracts and subsidy control, as well as some governance matters Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulation and policies Providing advice on public procurement regulations and tendering processes Liaising with internal stakeholders and third-party clients in respect of contractual obligations

Experience required:

Experience required in Local Government Experience managing complex commercial contract matters

Working hours:

Up to 30 hours per week
