Commercial Finance Business Partner – ACCA Careers

You'll provide financial analysis, commercial insight, and strategic support to the Commercial division, helping to influence key decisions and improve business performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clear commercial insight and analytical support for projects, process improvements, and investment appraisals, including post-investment reviews
• Evaluate investment opportunities and provide accurate financial data throughout implementation and transition to business-as-usual
• Partner with the Management Team to challenge and improve business performance, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
• Design and optimise management information systems to enhance profitability and support strategic objectives
• Drive the rollout of self-serve reporting tools and champion data-led decision-making across the organisation
• Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Track market trends and assess their impact on revenue, margins, and cost performance
• Produce timely ad hoc reports and actionable financial insights to inform decision-making

Profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with relevant post‑qualification experience or QBE
• Proven experience delivering commercial decision support in fast‑paced or multi‑sector environments
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication, and influencing skills
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems (SAP desirable)
• Dynamic, forward‑thinking individual who thrives in a collaborative environment
