Commercial Lead - Agency Partnerships
New Yesterday
Location: Remote-first (UK preferred)
The marketing world is shifting fast. As AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini become mainstream, global brands are moving away from traditional media to AI-first visibility strategies, where acquisition costs are near zero and conversion rates can be 5x higher.
This company is building the category-defining product for this new reality, already live with early customers and a clear path to profitability or exit within 12 months.
They are looking for a commercially driven operator to lead agency partnerships across big networks (WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Dentsu, Havas, IPG) and independent SEO/SEM and content agencies. The role will build and execute the agency GTM playbook, close pilots, scale usage across client portfolios, and shape strategy alongside the CEO.
What you’ll do:
- Own outreach, deal structuring, and closing with agency groups and independents
- Develop and manage pilot-to-scale partnerships with agencies
- Build targeted outbound and warm campaigns for agency decision-makers
- Shape agency-focused use cases and pricing with the CEO and product team
- Represent the company at industry events like BrightonSEO, WebSummit, and MarTech forums
They’re looking for:
- 5–10 years in partnerships, BD, or strategy within SEO/SEM agencies, MarTech, or media sales
- A strong network within agency holding groups and/or independents
- A track record of closing SaaS/MarTech deals via agencies
- Deep understanding of SEO, paid search, and content marketing, and how AI is transforming these areas
- Ability to navigate enterprise sales while moving fast with indie agencies
- Clear, persuasive communication style and comfort in early-stage environments
Bonus if you have:
- Experience building agency partnership or reseller programs
- Knowledge of structured content, schema optimisation, and AI search impact
- Early-stage MarTech startup experience
- Be at the forefront of helping agencies transition to AI-led brand visibility strategies
- Shape GTM, pricing, and partner approaches from the ground up
- Work with founders who have built and exited MarTech platforms
- Influence product-market fit, revenue growth, and partner strategy
- Competitive founder equity and remote flexibility

If you’re a sales-driven operator with a marketer’s mindset and a strong agency network, curious about AI’s impact on search and content, they’d love to speak.
