Position: Commercial Analyst

Location: Remote, occasional travel to Edinburgh

Work Pattern: Contract - Hybrid

Delivery Consultant at ERSG Ltd | PMO and Procurement Expertise in Renewables energy

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate entry and operational readiness in the UK electricity market, ensuring regulatory compliance, commercial integration, and optimisation of revenue streams (PPAs, CfDs, REGOs, Capacity Market, ancillary services).
• Liaise and secure necessary waivers/testing approvals.
• Coordinate with Meter Operator Agent
• Ensure compliant installation and registration of SVA/CVA metering.
• Align data flows with Elexon, SPEN, and offtakers.
• Negotiate pre-energisation supply agreements.
• Manage PPAs with ESB and SSE (dispatch, settlement, REGOs).
• Deliver CfD obligations with LCCC.
• Develop strategies for Capacity Market and ancillary services.
• Act as primary contact for all market bodies and internal teams.
• Maintain action plans and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Implement settlement and trading strategies.
• Oversee system integration for BM participation and revenue delivery.

Skills & Experience

• Deep knowledge of UK electricity market frameworks.
• Experience in market registration, grid integration, and commercial operations.
• Strong stakeholder and project management capabilities.
• Expertise in metering compliance and data flows.
• 5–10+ years in offshore wind or renewables.
• Proven success with PPAs, CfDs, and commercial strategy.
• Familiarity with utilities, corporate offtakers, and government entities.
• Knowledge of offshore grid development and supply chain policy
