COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR (LOCUM) 5+ PQE, SUFFOLK, GBP 40 - GBP 50 PER HOUR. A locum opportunity for an experienced commercial property solicitor to support a friendly team in Suffolk and assist with ongoing permanent recruitment.
Overview
A well-regarded law firm is seeking a locum commercial property solicitor (5+ years PQE) to provide locum support during a permanent recruitment process. The role covers a broad range of property transactions, including complex matters, requiring in-depth commercial property expertise. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload and draft/negotiate contracts, leases, and transfer deeds. Administrative support will be provided by a legal secretary and wider team members. The role is mainly office-based, with hybrid working options available. The position is suitable for someone who can start immediately and commit to the assignment on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Handle a varied caseload across property transactions, including sales and purchases, remortgages, refinancing, commercial leases, and construction-related contracts
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, leases, and transfer deeds
- Provide locum support during a permanent recruitment process
- Collaborate with a legal secretary and wider team for administrative support
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5+ years PQE in commercial property
- Strong in-depth commercial property expertise, including complex matters
- Able to start immediately and commit to the assignment on an ongoing basis
- Office-based role with hybrid working options
