Associate Director, In-house Legal, Financial Services at Taylor Root About the Role We are seeking a commercially astute and technically strong IT/Outsourcing Lawyer to join a leading financial services organisation. This role will focus on advising the business on complex technology outsourcing arrangements, ensuring legal, regulatory, and commercial risks are effectively managed. Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of IT outsourcing agreements, including managed services, cloud computing, infrastructure, and application support contracts. Provide legal support on vendor selection, onboarding, and governance processes. Collaborate with procurement, technology, compliance, and risk teams to deliver practical, business aligned legal advice. Support strategic initiatives involving digital transformation and third‑party technology integrations.

Key Requirements

Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 1‑6 years’ PQE (or relevant experience). Ideally experience in IT outsourcing and commercial contracts. Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and provide clear, pragmatic legal advice. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
