Position Overview:

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey. The role is Securities, Commodities, and Financial Services Sales Agent. Type: Independent Contractor. Location: Remote. Duration: 6 weeks. Commitment: 20–40 hours per week.

Role Responsibilities

• Write tasks and scenarios reflecting real-world financial services sales using your professional experience.
• Create realistic situations involving client prospecting, portfolio recommendations, securities trading, compliance requirements, and relationship management.
• Develop scenarios for conducting needs assessments, explaining investment products, navigating regulatory requirements, handling client objections, managing market volatility concerns, and providing ongoing client service.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to financial services sales queries for accuracy and professional standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on securities and financial services sales scenarios to improve AI training.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while contributing to cutting-edge AI research.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years professional experience as a securities sales agent, financial advisor, commodities broker, or financial services sales representative.
• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities.
• Proficient with using computers and navigating various software systems.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.

Preferred

• 14 years experience preferred.

Compensation & Legal

• Hourly compensation, paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
• Independent contractor engagement through Mercor.
