We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Manager to join our Corporate Affairs team at the Northern European Hub. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape strategic narratives, foster stakeholder engagement, and enhance the company's visibility across key markets including the UK, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland. As a Communications Manager, you will oversee both external and internal communications efforts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regional priorities. Your expertise will support the dissemination of innovative clinical data, regulatory milestones, and corporate initiatives, while also strengthening internal messaging that drives employee engagement and cultural initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven success in media relations and strategic communication, ideally with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content development skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing press office operations, media outreach, and proactive campaign development.
  • Ability to navigate a complex, regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Excellent influencing, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and familiarity with AI tools and analytics platforms.

Nice To Have Skills

  • Background in journalism, public policy, or political affairs.
  • Experience within neuroscience, oncology, immunology, or cardiometabolic health sectors.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and political landscape in the UK and Nordic countries.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate or public affairs roles, preferably within the healthcare sector.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work 2-3 days per week from office in Hampshire.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the region.
