Salary Negotiable: £50-60,000

Location: Peterborough-based office, with hybrid working options (minimum one day a week in the office)

Our client is a successful, respected directly authorised life brokerage. Their directors have been working alongside protection providers for over 30 years, and along with their advisors, possess extensive market knowledge.

As part of their growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Compliance / T&C Manager to oversee and proactively manage the protection advisers working under their authorisation, along with five direct reports. The role involves providing initial training and ongoing support and guidance to new and existing advisers within clients' companies.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background combined with leadership and coaching qualities that enable the team to reach their individual and collective potential.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience within an advice background within the protection market
  • Proven leadership abilities—able to recognize, coach, and support development areas on an individual basis
  • Ability to lead by example—creating vision, motivating, and inspiring others to achieve; not afraid to lead by example
  • Experience working within an insurance-based compliance, quality, and complaints environment at a similar level
  • Good working knowledge of FCA and FOS guidelines, particularly ICOBs, DISP, CIDRA 2012, and DPA 2018
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work
