Overview
We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Compliance Lead to join our client’s team during a period of dynamic change for both the business and the wider industry. You’ll play a key role in driving legislation and regulatory change initiatives across operations, with a focus on maintaining compliance with regulatory obligations and competition law frameworks.
Working within the legal team and supported by the Head of Compliance and a Programme Manager, you’ll coordinate training, process documentation, monitoring, reporting, and testing activities related to Competition Law compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Competition Law compliance workstreams across the organisation.
- Plan and deliver mandatory compliance training programmes across all business units.
- Develop and document robust processes to meet regulatory obligations and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Monitor compliance activities and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports, trackers, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee testing and validation of controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Competition Law.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent understanding and application of compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory change roles.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with stakeholder management experience.
- Knowledge or experience of Competition Law is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and within a team structure.
Compensation and Terms
Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 flexible for the right experience
Contract: Salaried Fixed Term initially, scope to go perm longer term.
Location and working pattern: Remote working / Office as required / Flexible working
