Base pay range

Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance / SME Bank / | London / Hybrid - £70,000 to £80,000

Looking for a role where you can own compliance and actually see the impact of your work? This SME business bank is growing fast, and we’re looking for a Compliance Manager to join our small, close-knit team.

Whether you’re ready to step into your first standalone lead role, or you’re an experienced compliance manager looking to move out of big, siloed institutions, this is a chance to be hands-on, visible, and directly influence how the bank operates.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking full ownership of compliance across a small but growing business bank
• Acting as the primary point of contact for the FCA and senior leadership
• Building, embedding, and monitoring compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Advising the business on regulatory change and compliance risks
• Providing practical, hands-on support and training across the team

What we’re looking for:

• Solid compliance experience within banking or financial services
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and governance requirements
• A pragmatic, commercial mindset with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders
• Hands-on and adaptable — comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial team
