The Role

As a Compliance Plumbing Engineer, you ll be hands-on across a variety of sites, carrying out both general plumbing and compliance-driven remedial works. No two days will be the same one day you may be tackling remedial surveys, the next ensuring Legionella compliance or installing pipework modifications.

You ll also play an active role in supporting clients directly, mentoring junior engineers, and helping the business deliver exceptional service across the UK.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on remedial and plumbing compliance tasks across commercial and domestic sites.
  • Supporting sales teams with accurate, cost-effective quotations.
  • Carrying out remedial surveys and planned preventative maintenance, including:
    • TMV servicing and installations.
    • Cold-water tank and calorifier inspections.
    • Showerhead cleaning/descaling and water sampling.
    • Pipework modifications, valve installation, and removal of dead legs.
  • Delivering first-time fixes wherever possible and ensuring all work meets the highest standards.
  • Recording findings accurately via a digital compliance system.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and practical recommendations.

About You

This role would suit a qualified plumber with compliance experience who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with clients. You ll be confident in your technical ability and motivated to deliver excellent service while upholding compliance standards.

We re looking for someone with:

  • Essential:
    • City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Plumbing (minimum).
    • At least 2 years plumbing experience.
    • Strong technical knowledge of hot and cold-water systems.
    • Full UK driving licence.
    • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Desirable:
    • Legionella awareness or accredited training (City & Guilds preferred).
    • Previous experience in Legionella compliance and remedial work.
    • Additional compliance training (e.g. Confined Space, IPAF, Working at Height).
