This exciting remote based opportunity has arisen to join our Broker Network Risk & Compliance (R&C) Team.
You will provide support and guidance on a broad range of regulatory compliance subjects to our Broker Network Members via our Compliance Helpdesk. You will also ensure online Compliance Toolkit, and other key documents, are kept up to date and deliver a file audit service to subscribing members. You will provide assistance to colleagues and internal stakeholders as required.
What you will do
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
- Understand the Networks Proposition and develop strong relationships with members.
- Ensure Helpdesk support - telephone and email – is delivered in line with internal process and SLAs.
- Carry out consistent remote file audit activity in line with agreed internal process and timescales. Ensure records are kept up to date and are accurate.
- Support colleagues and internal stakeholders by being flexible to developments, new tasks and support the delivery of project and other agreed activities.
- Ensure full and accurate records are kept of all member communications and ensure that department reporting requirements are met within required timescales.
- Ensure concerns/issues that pose risk to the Bravo Network companies, identified through either member audits, member visits or otherwise are escalated as appropriate.
- Maintain Member records for members, in support of the wider compliance team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good technical and working knowledge of the FCA regulatory regimes, ideally within an insurance market but wider financial services experience considered.
- Experience of working in compliance role.
- Auditing experience, preferably within a regulatory environment.
This is an opportunity for an individual with good technical knowledge and experience of the FCA regulatory environment together with strong relationship building, communication and time management skills. You will need to be an organised, proactive team player who is able to challenge business managers and senior individuals on compliance matters.
