A multinational energy group is looking to hire a Construction Legal Counsel into its UK team. The role sits within a major infrastructure programme and involves close work with senior commercial and engineering leads.
The work
- Drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts within a large alliance structure.
- Advising project teams on risk, delivery, change, and day-to-day commercial issues.
- Supporting governance and reporting across a wide range of workstreams.
- Managing claims and helping to resolve issues before they elevate.
- Working with external advisers and ensuring a consistent, value‑driven approach.
What you’ll bring
- Qualified in England and Wales or another common law jurisdiction.
- Around 3‑8 years of post‑qualification experience.
- Solid background in construction projects and familiarity with NEC.
- Confidence working with multidisciplinary teams on live programmes.
- Clear, practical communication and a steady, commercial approach.
