We are expanding our UK team and looking for motivated Data & Analytics Consultants with a background as a Data Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in financial services. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build on your existing skills while gaining exposure to cloud data and analytics engineering tools and techniques.
What you’ll do
- Deliver agile data projects from discovery and requirements gathering through to analysis, mapping, and transformation.
- Analyse, cleanse, and transform data to produce insights and MI.
- Bridge business, technology, and operations teams, translating requirements into effective, data-driven solutions.
- Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes that drive value.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for data processes, mappings, and solutions.
- Represent the consultancy as a trusted advisor, aligning client priorities with delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Experience & skills you’ll bring
- 3+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within Financial Services.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, and data analysis within agile environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Nice-to-have experience
- Consulting or client-facing experienceli>
- Python for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- BI/visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
- Cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake.
- Financial Crime, regulatory, or compliance project delivery experience.
Additional information
- This role is Hybrid with 2/3 days a week on-site.
- We support clients across the UK so you must be comfortable travelling for work purposes.
- You must be eligible to work in the UK without restrictions; we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
