As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented Content & Digital Marketing Executive to deliver consistent, engaging brand presence and effective marketing activity across our digital channels.Role purpose:This role blends content marketing and digital marketing support. You will take ownership of content publishing, employee advocacy coordination, and day-to-day organic social activity, while also helping manage website updates, on-page SEO and reporting. Working closely with the Marketing Director and Digital Marketing Manager, you will be a key player in delivering Gridlines' commitment to marketing that is high quality, consistent, and discoverable.ResponsibilitiesContent marketing (approx. 60%)Own the organic content calendar in partnership with the Marketing DirectorCreate high quality engaging social LinkedIn contentFormat, upload, and publish high-quality content in HubSpot and WordPressCreate engaging visuals in line with brand guidelines (e.g. Canva) to accompany social posts, newsletters and website contentWork with the team to consistently publish high quality blog contentCoordinate employee advocacy activity, including scheduling, providing post templates, and tracking performanceMaintain brand consistency and tone of voice across all contentEnsure accessibility best practices in published contentCoordinate a basic backlink strategy through content partnerships, guest posts, and relationship outreach to support off-page SEODigital marketing (approx. 40%)Implement on-page SEO best practice (metadata, headers, alt tags, internal linking)Support structured data/schema implementation for future search and LLM discoverabilityHelp maintain and update website pages, ensuring good user experience and basic performance standardsCollaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager on landing pages, forms, and campaign assetsSupport tracking and tagging (working with the Digital Marketing Manager) to enable clear reportingMaintain and update performance dashboards (GA4, HubSpot, LinkedIn)Coordinate with freelance designers, writers or developers as requiredMaintain a structured, version-controlled marketing knowledge base for case studies, presentations, and brand assetsEssential SkillsExcellent content writing and editing skills2-3 years\' experience in a content or digital marketing roleDegree level / CIM level 6 or equivalent in marketing or digital marketingFamiliarity with content publishing in HubSpot, WordPress or similar CMSWorking knowledge of on-page SEO best practice and SEO tools e.g. Ahrefs, SEMRushProven experience using social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, for B2B marketingProficient with design tools such as Canva (Adobe an advantage)Confident working with performance tools like GA4, HubSpot dashboardsCommitment to accessibility standards and inclusive contentAwareness of emerging trends such as generative AI for contentDesirableExperience in financial services, professional services or legal sectors - this is a distinct advantageBasic HTML/CSS for formatting and troubleshootingFamiliarity with integration tools such as Zapier or other no-code automation platformsExpertise in community management platform (eg Mighty Networks)Personal traitsStrong communicator, both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualitySelf-motivated, able to work independentlyCollaborative and supportiveStrong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlinesBenefitsWhat you\'ll getAn opportunity to grow with a respected, international firmRemote workingSupportive, expert team with strong mentorshipOpportunities for ongoing professional developmentSeniority levelExecutiveEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinanceIndustries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
