Role Overview
We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis. The position is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in our Reading office.
The Role
- Lead the development of high‑quality content that supports marketing activity across all channels.
- Research, write and deliver content that positions the business as a thought leader, educates the market, raises brand awareness and drives lead generation.
- Produce engaging social media, blog and PR content that inspires our audiences and reflects our innovative approach.
- Create compelling case studies, campaign materials and digital storytelling pieces, owning our content strategy and building a confident, authentic voice for the brand.
- Work closely with design, media partners and stakeholders to ensure content is consistent, creative and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the content calendar across multiple platforms.
- Manage customer communications and media partner relationships.
- Measure performance and optimise content for SEO and engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align content with marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- At least five years of experience in content creation across multiple channels.
- Experience managing customer communications and media partners.
- A journalistic approach to research and content gathering.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and people skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and proofreading ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with LinkedIn (organic and paid).
- Team‑player mentality with a proactive, “let’s get it done” attitude.
- Experience in the construction industry would be beneficial.
