Overview

Contentious Probate Associate or Senior Associate solicitor with salary £75-£90k DOE, hybrid working + benefits + incentives, SE London or Kent based. An exceptional opportunity with a forward-thinking, prestigious Legal 500 firm expanding their Contentious Probate practice within the Dispute Resolution team.

Responsibilities

• Act on a range of matters including challenges to the validity of Wills, inheritance disputes, trustee and estate disputes, and tax related matters.
• Manage cases with confidence and minimal supervision, while collaborating closely with the firm’s Private Client team.
• Introduce new clients to the firm and actively grow your own caseload.
• Identify and attend relevant networking opportunities to enhance the profile of the practice.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and referrers.

Qualifications

• A solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in contentious probate matters.
• Commercially astute, with proven ability to combine excellent client service with business development.
• Confident handling complex and sensitive disputes, ideally with knowledge of related tax considerations.
• A strong communicator with a collaborative and collegiate approach.
• Ambitious and motivated to contribute to the growth and strategic plans of the firm.
