Job Description
Supporting the fast-paced growth of our Fulfilment Operations, this role involves identifying and delivering opportunities for improvement! As CI Manager, you will be a positive agent for driving change in the Operating Region. You will support the delivery of the improvements roadmap and drive efficiencies across five pillars. You will also work closely with the wider Ocado Logistics Excellence functions, the CFC, the Operational Business Units, Delivery Operations, and senior leadership teams.
Responsibilities
As CI Manager, you will be responsible for delivering improvement projects and initiatives that enhance performance across five pillars: Safety, People, Customer, Delivery, and Cost. Your tasks will include:
- Delivering site improvement projects on time and within budget
- Collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain & Technology teams to roll out site Excellence projects
- Representing the site to support and implement projects from other business areas
- Managing projects with clear requirements, stakeholders, and objectives
- Communicating with stakeholders to keep them informed
- Conducting onsite investigations to identify operational waste and areas for improvement using data analysis, lean tools, operational expertise, and qualitative insights
- Communicating investigation results to support project development and prioritization
Additional Contributions
- Supporting onsite meetings to focus on quality, cost, and delivery issues
- Working with operational teams to support improvements
- Coaching teams to embed continuous improvement culture
- Building cost-benefit proposals and presenting to senior stakeholders for support
