What You\'ll Do

As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing an annual investment plan across the Connexus property portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management: Ensure decent homes works are completed on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Act as the Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015, maintaining safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Database Management: Maintain and utilise the Group's Asset Management database to keep contracts current, including the asbestos register.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage contract budgets effectively, ensuring expenditures align with financial standing orders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Administer contract data electronically and ensure timely updates to the Asset Management database.
  • Collaborate with the Investments Manager to manage annual work programmes and address any unidentified work areas.
  • Lead your team in achieving high levels of tenant satisfaction and effective customer consultation.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience: Strong background in the construction industry, with knowledge of Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and contract administration.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Qualifications: A degree in Building Maintenance or Construction, alongside relevant professional qualifications like RICS or NEBOSH.
