New Today

Overview

Our client is looking for a Copilot AI Solutions Engineer to join a trusted Microsoft Partner focused on business and technology transformation for project-based companies. Reporting to the Director of AI and Digital Innovation, you’ll design, build, and deploy proof-of-concept and value-generating AI solutions across internal delivery and client engagements. The role sits at the forefront of Microsoft’s AI ecosystem, particularly Copilot Studio, Power Platform AI, and Azure AI - turning emerging capability into tangible outcomes for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform scenarios. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and ideal for an engineer who thrives on experimentation and shipping usable prototypes quickly.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years’ hands-on experience building AI-powered solutions with a strong rapid-prototyping focus.
  • Proficiency with Copilot Studio, Power Platform AI Builder, Azure AI services, and Power Automate.
  • Experience integrating AI into Dynamics 365 or Power Apps (strong plus).
  • Exposure to GPT-based solutions (Azure OpenAI) and knowledge of REST APIs, data connectors, and plug-in frameworks.
  • Rapid solutioning from idea to POC/MVP; pragmatic engineering with an eye on reliability and extensibility.
  • Ability to translate technical capability into user-friendly experiences and documentation.
  • Curious, experimental, and self-starting; comfortable in a fast-paced environment where speed of execution is critical.
  • Strong problem-solver and collaborator; clear communicator.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build proof-of-concept and minimum-viable AI solutions that prove feasibility and business value in Microsoft ERP scenarios.
  • Use Copilot Studio, Power Platform AI, Azure Cognitive Services, and Microsoft Graph to create internal accelerators and client-facing outcomes.
  • Integrate AI with Dynamics 365 (F&O, CE, BC) and Power Platform tools in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
  • Work in short, agile cycles; test use cases; learn from feedback; evolve prototypes into scalable solutions.
  • Proactively identify delivery or operational pain points that AI can improve; balance speed with quality and extensibility.
  • Track developments across Copilot, Fabric, Azure OpenAI, LLM tooling; trial new features and assess relevance to services.
  • Advise the Director and innovation team on tools, techniques, and adoption priorities.
  • Build internal tools and assets that improve delivery, operations, and support.
  • Document POCs, code, and usage to enable wider team adoption.
  • Participate in ideation sessions, innovation workshops, and cross-functional reviews.
