IT Sales Recruiter

Beaumont is partnering with one of the UK’s largest Managed Service Providers to recruit an Account Manager. You will own a curated portfolio of c.16–25 mid‑market accounts across retail, manufacturing, finance and other sectors. Expect regular C‑level engagement, high contract values and a clear mandate to protect and grow revenue.

Sectors & Focus

  • Retail, Manufacturing, Finance and other enterprise verticals.
  • Primary focus: retention, expansion (cross‑sell & upsell) and commercial risk management.
  • Operate as the client’s commercial lead. Develop account plans, revenue forecasts and strategic roadmaps.

Support & solutions

You will work with overlay specialists across Cyber Security, Private & Public Cloud, Telecoms/Mobile, Contact Centre (CCaaS) and Managed Services; coordinating technical overlays to win and deliver complex deals.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and grow assigned accounts, deliver against account plans and revenue targets.
  • Drive retention KPIs and minimise churn through proactive commercial management.
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships (including C‑level) to uncover strategic opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify and close cross‑sell and upsell opportunities with support from technical overlays.
  • Coordinate bids, proposals and commercial negotiations; ensure seamless handoffs to delivery teams.
  • Use account insight and CRM data to forecast, report and influence leadership decisions.

What success looks like (first 6–12 months)

  • Clear 90‑day account plans covering top 10 accounts; early retention risks mitigated.
  • Pipeline of qualified cross‑sell opportunities worth multiple £100ks.
  • Consistent delivery against monthly retention and revenue targets.
  • Trusted commercial relationships established at senior stakeholder level.

Experience & skills

  • Minimum of 3 years account management experience in Telecoms/IT/Managed Services; experience selling either cloud, cyber security, networking, telecommunications or UC/CC is essential.
  • Proven track record of owning commercial outcomes and managing high‑value customers.
  • Data‑driven, commercially astute and comfortable negotiating at board level.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • IT literate (Excel/PowerPoint); CRM experience (Salesforce/HubSpot) preferred.
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car (required).
