What you will do:
- You will develop and maintain active and influential relationships with key market professionals and represent the Partnerships team to build our brand reputation in this key marketplace.
- You will generate new business, creating and maintaining a portfolio of Deposits led, Partnerships customers, achieving this through business development and promotion of the Metro Bank brand and products.
- You will build key relationships with other departments such as Customer Propositions, Treasury, Financial Crime Risk & Controls and Regional Teams.
- You will work with Financial Crime Risk & Control and Financial Crime Policy Team to ensure we identify and manage the operational risks of your customer portfolio in line with the Bank’s standards and policies.
- You will lead by example and set the tone as an advocate of Metro Bank and everything we stand for when dealing with customers, intermediaries and colleagues.
- You will split your time between business developing and relationship managing Deposits.
What you will need:
- You will understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders.
- You will have business development, rapport building and relationship management skills.
- You will have strong understanding of relevant business sectors and risk awareness.
- You will have excellent knowledge of the Deposits industry and related sectors, with experience in decision making, winning business and managing a portfolio.
- You will have a track record of generating new business and driving performance through others.
- You can manage multiple responsibilities within a quick and ever‑changing environment while prioritising and negotiating constantly.
- You will develop relationships both internally and externally at a range of seniority levels.
- You will love our values, live our culture and have a keen interest in our Partnerships customers and offerings.
- If you come from outside, you will have held a similar role in another organisation, demonstrating excellent customer relationship skills and business development.
