Role: Corporate Finance Manager required for a leading UK infrastructure business (Hybrid – Reading)

Office location: Reading (hybrid, 3 days a week in the office)

Stanton House are partnering with a major UK infrastructure organisation with a strong national footprint, delivering essential services to millions of customers every day. As part of a specialist corporate finance team, the business is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping capital structure, credit strategy, and investor engagement.

This is a highly visible, strategic role offering exposure to senior leadership, credit rating agencies, investors, and regulators. You will provide critical analysis on financial resilience, credit impact assessments, and capital structure decisions, while also supporting investor relations and ESG reporting.

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience in corporate finance, credit analysis, and financial modelling
  • Excellent understanding of capital structure and corporate financing principles
  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commercial acumen
  • Experience in a regulated industry (utilities, infrastructure, etc.) desirable
  • An accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) advantageous but not essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and assess the credit impact of strategic initiatives to enhance financial resilience
  • Support relationships with credit rating agencies and provide detailed credit analysis
  • Prepare board papers on capital structure and dividend policy
  • Provide financial input for investor presentations, roadshows, and results announcements
  • Analyse ESG-related financial impacts and contribute to sustainability reporting
  • Review funding and hedging strategies in collaboration with Treasury
  • Support strategic projects, including climate change scenario modelling and long-term financial planning
