Corporate Lawyer – Mergers and Acquisitions

Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a Local Authority in the Midlands who are looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis. The role is ideal for someone who is looking to work 3 days a week with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.

Rate: Up to £70 per hour OUTSIDE IR35.

Location: 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the sale of businesses and the transfer of business operations of council-owned businesses.
• Advising on corporate structure, issues, and warranties.
• Drafting and reviewing transactional and contractual documentation.
• Providing commercial and corporate advice to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants from a private sector and/or in‑house background are encouraged to apply. Candidates do not need prior local authority or public sector experience.
