Leads and supports security operations, processes and protocols to protect and safeguard Vanguard's assets, including crew, information, facilities, and property.
Core Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the overall security and protection of the workplace including staff, contents and overall premises. Provides expert level security administration knowledge to develop and maintain a secure access administration architecture for the division.
2. Ensures deliverables meet access management, information security and business contingency requirements. Trains team in security administration policies, standards and architecture development. Verifies that the infrastructure meets access security administration requirements for all areas.
3. Identifies areas of non-compliance throughout the facility and proactively develop solutions. Supports the review and assessment of processes and controls with an emphasis on single points of failure. Monitors, reports and assists in the development of control strategies and documentation.
4. Provides information and intelligence to assist in the development and management of the threat intelligence review process and planning. Ascertains and implements pre-screening processes for crew and contractors.
5. Acts as liaison to local, federal, and regional authorities, law enforcement and intelligence counterparts, in-country security, and private sector security liaison partners.
6. Trains less experienced crew in security administration policies, standards and architecture development.
7. Supports the termination and suspension process for crew contractors and consultants as directed by management. Supports the creation of security plan.
8. Supports the department's security incident process including review, investigation, recommendation and resolution of security matters. Supports sensitive department security investigations, and recommends action.
9. Reviews security project designs and conducts onsite progress assessments. Interfaces with the project team and user groups and coordinates the security aspects.
10. Supports the development and execution of the security response to Vanguard events including conducting an advance security review of the event. Serves as a liaison with site security management.
11. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
