About the Role
We’re looking for a creative force — a sharp thinker, brand builder, and cultural operator — to lead INKEY into its next chapter of brand growth. This is a Creative Director role for someone who sees through the fluff, asks the harder questions, and pushes brands to matter more.
You’ll evolve INKEY’s brand identity across every touchpoint, with a particular focus on growing in North America — our most competitive, fast-paced, and high-opportunity market.
You’ll help us run like a modern media company: quick on culture, rich in storytelling, and ruthless in clarity. You’re not here to play it safe. You’re here to make it mean something.
Your Mission
To build a globally consistent, creatively disruptive brand system — one that shows up with cultural relevance, emotional intelligence, and a POV strong enough to cut through the noise of the beauty industry.
What You’ll Lead
- Define and own the creative vision for INKEY — from brand world to product storytelling
- Lead campaigns, content ecosystems, and visual expression that reflect a brand rooted in skin truth and radical transparency
- Collaborate across Creative, Social, Education, Retail, and Growth to ensure every brand touchpoint connects with meaning and momentum
- Push for scroll-stopping creative, real-world resonance, and ideas worth talking about — with an eye toward market leadership
- Act as a mentor and momentum-builder to a growing in-house team — setting the standard for creative that’s fast, fearless, and effective
- Bring structure where it’s needed, and break it where it’s holding us back
- Fuel experimentation and intelligent risk-taking, not design by consensus
- Excited by the potential of AI in content creation
You Bring
- 8–10+ years of experience building culturally relevant brands across agency and in-house settings
- Proven success leading brands in the U.S. market — with an eye for what works across retail, content, influencer, and DTC
- A portfolio that blends insight with aesthetic — and shows you know when to refine revolt
- Deep experience with fast-moving social storytelling, digital ecosystems, and creative production workflows
- Comfort presenting creative to senior stakeholders, building buy-in and momentum
- A keen understanding of how design, language, and culture meet to shape brand behaviour
