The Role

As a Credit Risk Fundamentals Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of a multi-workstream Credit Risk transformation program during a critical turnaround phase.

As a Credit Risk Fundamentals Program Manager, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a multi-stream Credit Risk transformation program, overseeing planning, execution, and governance across Technology, Change, People, Skills, Strategy, Scorecards, Governance, Data, Monitoring, and Modelling.
  • Ensure milestone-driven delivery, proactively managing dependencies and risks to maintain alignment and momentum across all workstreams.
  • Act as the central coordination point across Operations, Data & Analytics, Commercial, and Finance, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment throughout the Credit Risk transformation program.
  • Maintain high-quality engagement with ExCo and the Board, delivering clear updates on progress, risks, and decisions, while supporting the Head of Credit Risk by managing day-to-day project activities to enable strategic focus.
  • Apply deep Credit Risk domain expertise to guide program decisions, ensuring alignment with best practices and challenging workstream outputs to meet regulatory, commercial, and operational requirements.
  • Establish and maintained robust governance frameworks, including steering committees, RAID logs, and reporting packs, ensuring all program documentation met audit standards and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs within Credit Risk or Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of consumer credit, risk management frameworks, and regulatory expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes, including executive and board-level reporting.
  • Experience working in turnaround or high-change environments.
  • Exceptional communication, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with technology change programs and data-driven environment
  • Professional certifications in Program/Project Management (e.g., MSP, PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
