About the role:

We are looking for a Cynnydd Youth Engagement Worker to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with children and young people to improve their engagement in education. They will hold a caseload, plan, facilitate, monitor, and evaluate a range of interventions to support the needs of children and young people in a strengths-based, person-centred approach.

Main duties of the post:

This post will target children and young people most at risk of disengagement from education and, consequently, at the highest risk of becoming Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET).

Experience required:

Engaging with young people to build positive relationships in a school setting. Experience of delivering interventions to address concerns related to disengagement and behavioural needs. Experience of adopting a multi-agency approach to support young people and their families.

Ideally, you will have:

A formal qualification such as a Youth Work qualification or equivalent.
