Overview
Global Talent Acquisition Specialist | Affinity Petcare — Senior Data Analyst for the Natures Menu D2C team. You will take full control of data and analytics to support our next stage of growth, ideally with a background in D2C, ecommerce or subscription and experience with experimentation.
You’ll report to the D2C Director as part of the leadership team.
You’ll work with BigQuery, Dataform (modelling), Stitch (Ingestion) and Looker (reporting) in a fast-moving team that learns what works and adapts quickly.
What you will do
- Identifying key trends and opportunities: Proactively analyze data to uncover insights that can drive strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Data-driven experimentation: Support running experiments by advising on metrics, Minimum Detectable Effects and runtimes and post-test analysis.
- Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports: Build visualizations in Looker that provide actionable insights to the D2C team and wider business.
- Owning and managing the D2C data infrastructure: Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility within BigQuery, Dataform, Stitch, and Looker.
- Developing and implementing data models: Use Dataform to create robust and scalable data models that support reporting and analysis needs.
What we are looking for
- Proven ability to deliver impact through analytics and data, ideally with more than 8 years in related or equivalent positions.
- A background in growth analytics or product analytics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Expert in SQL.
- Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Dataform), BI platforms (e.g., Looker) and Google Analytics.
