Opportunity
We are seeking a Team Lead - Data Analysis & Data Visualization to guide our analytics function and transform raw data into meaningful, accessible insights. The role involves leading a team of analysts, collaborating with product managers and the Head of Data, and shaping how EveryWatch communicates complex market dynamics through data. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on storytelling with data—turning deep analysis into clear, visually engaging dashboards, reports, and graphics that drive decision-making across the business.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of proven, hands-on experience leading a team of data analysts
- 8+ years of proven experience in data analysis and visualization, ideally in a digital product or market-focused environment
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI and Advanced SQL skills, including hands-on experience with MSSQL
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and the ability to design clean, user-friendly visual reports
- Excellent communication skills — especially the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- A curious mindset and passion for uncovering insights from data
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Python or other coding languages for scripting is a plus
- Experience in the startup or venture capital space is a plus
- Excellent level of spoken and written English
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of data analysts in delivering high-impact analysis and reporting
- Write and optimize queries across our MSSQL database to extract key insights
- Develop and deploy a high volume of impactful dashboards and reports that directly inform business decisions across the company
- Translate complex, data-intensive concepts into simple, digestible formats for internal stakeholders and external users
- Work collaboratively with the Product team to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards
- Contribute to the development of data-driven features within the EveryWatch platform
- Present findings and insights to non-technical audiences in compelling and actionable ways
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Direct experience within the luxury watch market is a plus, as is experience from a major IT or tech company, and backgrounds in SaaS, E-Commerce, Gaming, or Digital Publishing
- Programming Skills: Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Python or R for statistical modeling, machine learning applications, and advanced data manipulation
- Specialized Analytics: Experience in areas like customer behavior analysis, marketing campaign effectiveness for high-net-worth individuals, or financial modeling related to asset valuation
