Data Analyst - Risk Data Modelling Team
£70,000 + Benefits
3 days per week in the London office

We're recruiting for a Data Analyst to join the Risk Models and Data team of a leading commercial bank. This team is responsible for risk models, quantitative tools, data analytics, and management reporting. You\'ll play a key role in modernising reporting processes, improving insight, and supporting data governance.

The role

You\'ll work closely with analysts and risk specialists to deliver high-quality data analysis, reporting and automation. This includes migrating legacy tools to modern platforms, developing dashboards, and producing insightful MI to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the modernisation of data analysis and reporting (Power BI, Python, automation)
• Assist in the migration from SAS to Power BI and Python
• Produce regular and ad-hoc management information (MI) and data insights
• Collaborate with colleagues across risk and other functions on data governance
• Present findings clearly to stakeholders at different levels

What We\'re Looking For

• Relevant Data Analysis experience in banking
• Understanding of risk/financial terminology, or interest in developing this knowledge
• Strong technical skills in Power BI and Python
• Willingness to learn and apply SAS and SQL as needed
