Role Summary
Our team's mission is to enable ARIA to scale and innovate through the implementation and use of first-class technologies and systems and data-driven insights. The Data & Insights Associate will support ARIA's internal systems and data landscape.
This role is responsible for executing on the design, implementation, and optimisation of data infrastructure, tooling, and reporting solutions. You'll work closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver user-centric tools, insightful reporting, and streamlined workflows. This role requires a blend of technical execution and problem-solving to help ARIA scale and innovate.
What you'll do
Data Tooling & Implementation
- Support in driving the uptake of user-centric tools across the lifecycle of ARIA products, ensuring they deliver value and operational efficiency.
- Support the development and iteration of core bespoke solutions using tools such as Airtable, ETLs, Data Warehouses, CRMs etc. as required, whilst maintaining data integrity and security practices
- Assist in building and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Explore and apply AI tools where appropriate to enhance operational efficiencies and drive further benefits for the organisation.
- Combine data from multiple tools to improve operational efficiency and generate actionable insights through intuitive reporting and visualisation.
- Assist in the management of ARIA’s data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and cloud-based platforms.
- Assist in data integrating between platforms and tools
- Collaborate with IT to ensure embedded infrastructure is secure and compliant with organisational standards.
- Work with team members to assess requirements, select appropriate tooling and data models, and roll out solutions.
- Gather data requirements and support the design, build, and implementation of solutions and infrastructure that align with ARIA’s strategic objectives and priorities.
- Provide support to teams across the product lifecycle with solution selection, build, implementation, iteration, and troubleshooting to ensure successful adoption and optimal performance as required.
- Take a user-centric approach to all data and tooling initiatives, ensuring solutions meet the needs of stakeholders and enhance their workflows.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for data and tooling issues reported by stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights to prevent recurrence.
To thrive in this role, you demonstrate:
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional needs and business priorities.
- Proficiency in supporting solution architecture and engineering, with a focus on building, integrating, and maintaining tools, gathering feedback, and driving adoption of solutions.
- Solid data handling capabilities, ensuring effective data flows, high-quality reporting, and efficient data infrastructure.
- Practical experience working with data in a fast-paced environment, assisting with data management from extraction to analysis.
- Experience supporting the building and customisation of low-code environments such as Airtable and Make.com to support operational needs.
- Experience working inside of Data Warehouses and using ETL Tools.
- A strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, working closely with team members and stakeholders to drive meaningful impact.
- A user-focused mindset, with a passion for enabling teams to work more effectively.
- The ability to quickly grasp new topics and technologies, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and adaptability.
- A strong motivation to drive positive societal impact, supporting ARIA’s mission to generate global-scale advancements in science and technology.
