This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge matters with clients across tech, creative industries, education, healthcare, and the public sector.The RoleYou'll provide expert advice on a wide range of data protection and privacy issues, including:Advising on UK GDPR, DPA 2018, PECR and related legislationDrafting and reviewing privacy policies, DPIAs, and data processing agreementsSupporting clients with audits, gap analyses, and compliance programmesAdvising on data breaches and incident responseWorking on commercial matters involving data and technologyBuilding strong client relationships and contributing to business developmentSupervising and mentoring junior team members (Senior Associate level)You'll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team that values innovation, knowledge sharing, and a practical, commercial approach to client service.About YouWe're looking for a lawyer with:5+ years' PQE in data protection/privacy lawA PGCert, PGDip or equivalent specialist qualification in Data ProtectionStrong knowledge of UK and EU data protection legislation and ICO guidanceExperience advising businesses on data governance, risk, and complianceExcellent drafting, analytical and communication skillsA proactive, commercial mindset and enthusiasm for client-facing workA collaborative and supportive approach to teamworkPrevious experience in a technology/IP/data-focused environment (desirable)BenefitsIn addition to a competitive salary, the firm offers:Employee ownership profit-shareHybrid working and flexible hours25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and your birthday)Private medical insuranceGroup life assuranceWellbeing support and paid leave for good causesCareer progression through training, mentorship, and development programmesCulture & ValuesThis firm is known for its people-first culture, commitment to community, and employee ownership model.
