Join Capgemini as a DCX Energy Transition & Utilities (ET&U) Sector Growth Lead to lead the continued growth of our Public Sector business. Deliver exceptional user-centric digital experiences and lead the design, development, and delivery of some of the largest, most innovative digital projects in the UK Energy Transition & Utilities Sector.
Sitting within the Centre of Excellence (CoE) team of our Digital Customer Experience business in the UK, this is a key role leading and shaping our Digital growth in the ET&U Sector. You will work with our CoE Head, Offer and Technology leads, and Market Unit leads, as well as other Capgemini business areas, to lead our digital go to market, growing our relevance and footprint to a portfolio of £100m+.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a high-calibre growth leader who exhibits a range of attributes, skills and experience that enables them to deliver rapid value to our clients. This value is delivered by architecting customer centric platforms across a range of domains and technologies:
1. Strategic Sales Leadership: Guide our clients in defining the right digital technology solutions based on their needs and goals. Own the sales and delivery of digital projects, ensuring robust, scalable solutions.
2. Innovative Sales Solutions: Lead cross-functional teams in an agile sales and delivery process, responsible for delivering first-class citizen centric experiences, including digital services & platforms, content management, analytics and reporting, digital engagement & communications, e-commerce, CRM, case management, field service, customer contact and bespoke web & mobile applications.
3. Sales Mentorship and Growth: Coach and mentor other team members to share knowledge and experience, helping to grow the team. Work with client stakeholders and internal teams to develop new sales opportunities.

Your skills and experience
We are looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial, growth leader with a balanced mix of strategy, growth and execution skills:
- A deep understanding of the Energy Transition & Utilities Sector and the challenges facing it
- Insight and perspectives on current trends and innovations in the Energy Sector
- Experience selling and delivering digital projects in the Energy & Utilities Sector
- Awareness of the key customer experience technology players in the industry, including Salesforce, Adobe, Pega, Service Now, Microsoft, AWS, Google, industry specific solutions such as Gorilla, Gentrack, Kraken, as well as bespoke and open-source solutions and their role in the sector.
- Experience developing winning proposals, leading bid submissions, and presenting pitches by demonstrating how you will achieve and deliver the customer vision
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies and sales plans
- The ideal candidate would have experience working for or in partnership with Tier-1 Global System Integrators like Capgemini and understand how to navigate such a matrix organisation
- Experience working as part of a cross-functional team and be able to manage internal and external stakeholders and partners
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; excellent presentation and facilitation skills; experience influencing C-level stakeholders with technical and non-technical backgrounds
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance .
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
