Job Description

• Leading in the calculation of Defined Benefits quotations and designing & issuing non-standard communications to scheme members
• Ensuring accurate benefit calculations with proper quality checks before issuance
• Providing efficient administration and claims services to scheme members, Trustees, and intermediaries
• Staying updated with current pensions legislation and acting as a technical SME for the team
• Facilitating activities such as valuations, data updates, and bulk transfers as needed
• Managing the onboarding process for new DB Pension schemes into L&G
• Keeping internal and external stakeholders informed with key information
• Designing and implementing training to improve customer outcomes

• Pension qualification such as CII or PMI, or equivalent experience in DB Pensions
• Strong understanding of DB Pension schemes and related legislation
• Excellent customer orientation and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize effectively
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ownership mentality for resolving issues and queries
• Collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment and analytical skills
