Job Title: Design Manager

Location: Hybrid (after probation)

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum

Our client is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their dynamic team, delivering high-profile façade projects across the UK. They specialise in Re-Cladding and façade refurbishment on projects of varying scale, offering an innovative, collaborative environment for professionals looking to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design process for façade projects, ensuring compliance with project brief, budget, and programme.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality Re-Cladding solutions.
• Oversee design teams, including coordination with consultants and sub-contractors.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Ensure design compliance with building regulations, fire safety, and quality standards.
• Manage risk and proactively resolve design-related challenges on projects up to £24m.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to maintain high design standards.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Design Manager within façade projects, specifically Re-Cladding.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, and construction methodologies.
• Experience managing projects up to £24m in value.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
